Ivy Mentors Coalition aims at connecting international students from Ivy League schools with younger international students in the United States. There are four main programs: Peer Tutoring, Parents Community, Leadership development and Elites Club. The purpose of our programs is the holistic education of students. We hope more students can understand their needs, realize their values, discover their potentials and achieve their dreams.

Quality

Ninety percent of our tutors are from Ivy League Universities. They provide one-on-one and multidimensional services to younger students. Tutors, as seniors, will guide and lead younger peers to learn proactively. Students will be immersed in the project-based learning through our programs. They are expected to be more enthusiastic about learning, finding their life pursuits and seeking their true passion.

Care

We connect “Ivy League Moms and Dads”, parents whose children were admitted to Ivy League universities, to parents of younger students. Through helping each other, parents will be able to discuss and share family education theories and practices, building up a warm family abroad to stand by all the international students. In addition, students will be highly motivated to engage in our own and partner programs and take leadership roles.

Guide

Through establishing online and offline elite club cohorts, members can take part in a variety of events. Younger international students can maintain social contact with higher-grade students in different majors, which helps them open up their horizons and make more friends. Higher-grade students will guide younger peers in many aspects, including studying, socializing, mental health and so on.

Platform

Ivy League Coalition closely works with various cultural exchange institutions both in China and in the U.S. Our programs include studying and travelling abroad, summer and winter camps, short-time exchange programs, online language tutoring by native speakers, college consulting and so on.

About Us

Ivy Mentors Coalition (IMC) is a platform that gathers the students, alumni and students’ parents of eight Ivy League schools (Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, and Yale University). The purpose of IMC is to connect higher-grade students with younger international students as higher-grade students can be role models and guide younger students in all directions. Ninety percent of our student tutors are from Ivy League schools who have high academic achievements. Our parents tutors are those parents whose children went to Ivy League schools. They have abundant knowledge and experience of family education. IMC aims at building a harmonious, helpful and caring community, which would help international students explore themselves, develop maturation, build up soft and hard skills and realize their values.

Mission Statement

IMC stands for Ivy Mentors Coalition, a platform built by Ivy League graduates & associates, seasoned education practitioners and social elites. We believe that education is powerful, it transcends borders, it opens minds. We are here united to dedicate our love, vision and professionalism to guide international students and families to pursue global education, overcome challenges, and become ambassadors of universal core value. Along this route, we strive to become the lead runner at international education front.
